Barefoot Opera is committed to researching approaches to teaching that include exercises with movement, breath, body and sound.  Developed over three decades, our unique methodology of integrated breath and movement- led
sound helps students at all levels to liberate range, colour, vocal freedom and spontaneous expression; a joyful process that we would like to share with you.
Our Teachers’ Forum offers a space for teachers to share and explore their own teaching practice, for peer-led discussion of different approaches, or to trouble-shoot thorny issues- a stimulating exchange which will enrich our skills as teachers.

Jenny Miller and Penny Randall-Davis will offer two evening workshops on
consecutive evenings at the Barefoot Studio 93 Endwell Rd SE4 2NF
Weds. Jan 10 and Thurs Jan 11  7-9 pm
£20 per workshop.
£35 for two workshops
Different material will be explored in each workshop. Both workshops will provide an opportunity to experience Barefoot body voice and movement exercises, as well as opening the space for participants to share their own findings and exchange ideas.  Maximum benefit will be gained from attending both workshops as an immersive experience- see the discount available.
It is also possible to book for a single workshop.
With the momentum generated by these workshops, we aim to create a yearly membership for teachers which would allow participation in meetings, workshops, forums with like-minded singers, improvisation and group generated research.
